Info on Trenton Hassell

I had to check out this guy, after seeing Rodecker's rating.
Trenton Hassell shot .485 from the field (38% on treys) and scored 21.7ppg
last season. For a scorer, he has tremendous career rebounding (8.1) and
assist numbers (4.5). His college, Austin Peay, plays a very weak schedule.
The only good non-conference team they played this season was Tennessee,
where they lost by over thirty points. The best known conference teams are
maybe Murray State and Indiana State. Although a senior, Hassell is
entitled to an additional year of college and has not signed an agent to
date. Here are some clips I found about him on the Web:

By Brad Friedman U.S. Scouting Services Director
"There is a player in the Mid-American Conference reminding many of Bonzi
Wells. Like Wells, Trenton Hassell also is 6-5, 200 pounds, capable of
playing either facing or posting and raising doubts about his ability
becuase he does not play in a major conference. Blessed with a NBA body
made to match up with the likes of Kobe Bryant and Vince Carter, Hassell
has created a reputation for himself with his do-everything,
multi-dimensional efforts. The biggest concern with Hassell is his lack of
experience playing against top collegiate talent on a nightly basis. As
scouts better familiarize themselves in the pre-draft camps with his game,
it is likely we will better know where he is expected to fit in among his
major conference peers."

NBA Comparison: Larry Hughes
Strengths: Very athletic 2 guard with good vision and passing ability......
Offensive game is very solid. Shoots the ball very well from the field and
three point land...... Slashes to the basket with a great first step and
finishes well with good hops and strength.
Weaknesses: A tad undersized at the wing position at 6-5..... A little
turnover prone but was forced to handle the ball more than an off guard
usually should..... Must get stronger and more physical. Has an extra year
of eligibility so he could choose to return to school for another season.
