Will It Be A Kerry Kittles Celtics Draft or a Tracy McGrady Draft or some such combo?

Will the Celtics opt for known quantities, immediate-bang-on -the-
buck type of players but without great upside, or will they
be willing to take risks, selecting players less developed, but with
far better long range potential? Or could it be a combination of
both types?

We'll know June 27th, sometime around 8:30 PM. That's
when picks 10 and 11 should be on the board.

And if those choices are Jamal Tinsley and Murphy/Haywood/
Woods, then you'll know it's a Kerry Kittles type of draft
and the C's will have prolonged their mediocrity.

Should the picks be Pau Gasol and Zach Randolph,
with Tony Parker there at 21, you'll know they've done
the right thing and tried to liberate themselves from a
lottery-locked future.

Ahhhh, just imagine: Nazr at center, Randolph at PF,
Walker at SF, Pierce at SG, and Parker at point,
with Gasol coming off the bench for the first few
years, until his all-around skills free up Toine and Nazr
to be dealt for an impact center. I like that scenario.

Or will they go the wishy-washy way and select a more
proven player, but also take a risk ala: Tinsley and Randolph,
Murphy and Gasol, Tinsley and Gasol, Haywood and
Gasol, et al. Could be. But as Milli Vanilli once said:
All or Nothing.
