Re: Couple trade idea's BOS/Atlanta

Title: Couple trade idea's BOS/Atlanta
If Atlanta is really looking for a point I would think they would take an Eisley with a much lower salary unless they can get rid of salary like a Henderson,  as you mention. I don't see them moving Kukoc, but then he and Rahim do play the same position? Isn't Kukoc a free agent ?

Someone's statement of Mohammed staying now the Wright has gone makes sense unless Nazr just chooses  not to resign like Wright did with the Clippers and forces a trade. With Wright gone this actually could help him in forcing a sign and trade deal.

Anderson and Battie or VP for Mohammed and Henderson would seem feasible if they really want Kenny. Anything is possible. Getting Mohammed and Kukoc would be great but we would probably have to give up Johnson or Brown in the package and they would probably be able to get a veteran elsewhere.

Atlanta trades:         Toni Kukoc      $7,167,961      to Boston
TOTAL:          $7,167,961

Boston trades:  Kenny Anderson  $7,515,000      to Atlanta
TOTAL:          $7,515,000

TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Atlanta and Boston being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Atlanta and Boston had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Boston would also receive a trade exception of $347,039 with this trade. This would have to be used within one calendar year from the date of this trade.

Be aware that this exception will be extinguished if the team which possesses it falls below the cap by the combined amount of the exceptions it currently possesses.
