So What Do We Know So Far....

1. According to Wallace's mentor Sonny Vaccaro, Chris
is going to do some things this week that will shock us.
A "''you bet your job' sort of thing'".

Well, they just picked up the option for Mark Blount.

2. Kedrick Brown is going to be a lottery pick for sure, as the
NBA invited him to attend the draft, a privilege restricted to those
expected to be lottery choices.

So, Brown for better or worse, seems ticketed for Boston at 11.

3. The Celtics may trade the 11th pick for Bonzi Wells and
his torn ACL.

You can't like this trade, because of the - coming off of a serious
injury -
factor, and Bonzi will be a free agent after next season.

4. The Celtics may trade the 11th pick et al. for Scottie Pippen,
and the [possibility of future Cap Space.

Wouldn't it be better to put your draft resources into the present and
future by trading up for Gasol, a player they really love. Extra
cap space never really helped the Bulls or Clippers in attracting
quality free agents. Free agents are attracted to winning teams
or sunny climates.

5. Right now it's looking like a blah draft for the Celtics.

Can't disagree with myself. To constrict your draft options,
so you can trade for a guy coming off a major sports' injury
is insane.

Let's hope it's all a smoke screen and Wallace does do something
dramaticly good.
