Bad reports today

Insider cites a source close to Gasol saying he will pull out of the draft
today. That's bad news any way you look at it. It's not official, though, so
who knows?

Also, Diop is moving back up the draft board with strong workouts. Again,
bad news. What a steal he would have been at 10.

Andy Katz says Curry is dropping out of the top five. I find this
unbelievable. Katz also is the latest to say Radmanovic is in the top 10. He
also says the Celts and Blazers are interested in Juco stud Kedrick Brown.
The Blazers have the 19th pick, though, so if they want him, they'll
probably get him. The Celts are interested with their 21st pick. He's
described as "Richard Jefferson with a jump shot."

The encouraging news of the day came from the Celts' workout of Troy Murphy
yesterday. Sounds like he's very much in the mix at 10 or 11. I say that's
encouraging only because it seems to confirm the earlier reports of Murphy's
impressive workouts.

The Celts will have some interesting decisions to make if the top nine are
some combination of Kwame Brown, Griffin, Curry, Chandler, Battier, White,
Richardson, Diop and Joe Johnson. That would seem to leave the best players
on the board as VladRad, Murphy, Michael Bradley-all similar-or Woods or
Haywood, who the Celts don't seem so interested in. Wonder what they would
do...
