RE: sportstalk: diop has worst vertical in Chicago

I'm with Mark on this one. If Curry really has
a longer wingspan than Loren Woods, than he really
is Baby Shaq. Trade all three picks to get him now.
On the other hand, Michael Bradley sounds like he really
has some McHale-esque arm length to go with his low-post
moves; I'm also encouraged to see that Joe Forte is 6'4" and
a smidgen in his shoes. (Unless they are elevator shoes, as
Joe suggests.) Haywood has an impressive wingspan too; we
definitely need to pick up one of these guys somewhere.

Diop apparently has such a weak lift for reasons connected
to his injured foot. I don't really care, but I would hate
to see us go into next year without a single impact rookie.
I wish Gasol had been there to be measured; I am so not excited
about him....

Curry is half an inch taller than Diop in shoes, yet only a quarter inch
taller in socks.

I guess it really IS the shoes. ;-)

Bradley and Haywood both showed up wearing an inch-and-three-quarter heels.
What did they have a date afterwards?

I wonder if these shoes were specially designed for the NBA physical, or if
they actually play in them?

Richard Jefferson's taller than I imagined. I wonder how his ball handling
skills are.

Stop for a minute and imagine a 40 inch vertical without taking a step.
That defies gravity. The worst of them, Sagana Diop, has like double my
hops on a good day. Coming in last in hops with all those WBs around, he's
a disgrace to his people. ;-)
