My apologies.  My accusatory tone was unwarranted.  After years of posting
and reading the posts on the newsgroup, I have been conditioned to making
negative assumptions about Celtics fans that are clearly not warranted as
evidenced by the civil and knowledgeable conversation on this list.  I have
learned a valuable lesson.  Once again, my apologies.

How about  a more parsimonious explanation - that people didn't know about
it? At least I don't read TSN and had no idea he had received this
recognition.
