Re: Key Call by Antoine

He precisely did that because he is a knuckle head who doesn' t know any better. LOL. He almost got a triple double but I am sure there will be serious concerns about his shooting because he only shot 10/27 and went 0-8 on 3's. - Mishra

Tonight's game is very key for the Celtics, even given the fact that the
All-Star Break is still ahead of us, and we are 8 or 9 games beneath .500.
Antoine's grandmother died yesterday, and the team has officially given him
time to sit shiva with their full support. Antoine throughout his career
has ignored personal emergencies to play, and we really need him to do so
tonight for the following reasons.

1) we have our first three-game win streak on the line. We need to keep
this going; our newfound winning ways are intensely fragile, as evidenced by
yesterday's tiff in practice, and Eric Williams' subsequent peacemaking
efforts.

2) our opponent, Indiana, currently occupies the last playoff spot and is
two and a half games ahead of us (I think.)

3) Indiana played last night, so we stand a good chance of picking up a
road win, moving up in the standings, and cementing our winning mentality.

Needless to say, it will be very hard to win against any opponent without
Antoine's services. We might be able to get by with Eric Williams, Kenny
Anderson, and maybe even Moiso or Chris Carr playing some minutes, but
I really hope Twon can answer the bell, and I believe he will. He can fly
to Indianapolis from Chicago in less than an hour, play, and then go
home....I know this sounds callous, but we need him for this game. And
given the fact that he knows how much the game means both mentally and in
terms of the standings, I really hope his family encourages him to play.
Say what you want about Twon, but he's a gamer.
