Still, don't expect a bunch of Jacque Vaughn blockbusters going down
this weekend. Instead, many teams will wait on Jackson. There is already
a long line cued up to get a piece of him. Jackson has said he expects
to be traded and given that he can't seem to find the light of day while
being buried on the end of the Warriors' bench, he's probably right.
With so many teams in desperate need of a big man, expect most to
refrain from making any major moves before they figure out whether they
can get their mitts on Jackson.

Who are the teams most interested? The Knicks, Magic, Pacers, Nuggets,
Sixers, Blazers and Suns all need more big men and have all, reportedly,
made inquiries.

Short of Jackson, who else may lose some job security tomorrow?

Rookie Joe Forte is buried in Boston and struggling to make the
transition to point guard.

The Pistons have a bit of a logjam at small forward. Could Rodney White
or Corliss Williamson land them that top-flight point guard GM Joe
Dumars covets?

If the Heat continue to struggle, could a veteran like LaPhonso Ellis or
Kendall Gill (if he gets healthy) help a club that feels it's a veteran
away from competing?

Felipe Lopez seems hopelessly out of the rotation in Minnesota.

The Blazers still need to address their chemistry issues; newcomers
Derek Anderson, Ruben Patterson and Zach Randolph are eligible to be
moved.

A logjam at power forward coupled with a slow start in Toronto could
mean the Raptors look to see what value Jerome Williams or even Antonio
Davis has on the free-agent market.

And what about Webber? The Kings seemed to play so well without him . .
. OK, maybe we're getting ahead of ourselves.
