RE: Chris Wallace Strikes Again

I know we shouldn't draft for need... I'm just worried that Wallace doesn't
seem to realize we have a need at center. Blount/VP/Battie are backups.
Period. They don't have to address it in the draft, but I'd feel better at
least knowing that they hoped to address it. As for Kenny... we're only
stuck with his contract. You'd need a forklift to raise his value to the
point where anyone would want to trade for him. I just don't want him around
this team anymore, and if that means you cut him and eat the contract, then
that's just the way it is.

Mark, cool your jets. You know the folly of drafting for
need, especially at ten. And it's not like anyone is offering
to trade us an elite center. The fact is that Blount/VP/Potapenko
do a pretty good job overall, and aren't really holding us back.
Add a great slasher/scorer to the mix, and maybe a rugged rebounder
(Cisse/Randolph) at the four spot (when Twon is at 1, maybe) and
that should help a lot. As for Kenny, if we're stuck with him, we have
to hope he can give us something, even if it's only to raise his value.
