on Mr. Pack

I spoke with Robert's "momma" last night and she informed me that Pack
had not gone to Boston as I reported earlier.  He is working out in
Dallas where he has enrolled his son in school.  He is in the last
year of his contract and needs a good year, so he is reticent about
playing in Boston (presumably with Kenny and maybe Brown ahead of
him); sounds like he would prefer Denver.

So, who knows.  Maybe his agent is trying to work the Denver deal. 
If Cheaney has been marginalized by Brown (is that his name?  the
Chicago guy) and neither he nor Stith would play much anyway, why not
move Pack for Herren?  I'm game.  I just wanted to see Pack push the
ball like he can; it may still happen, a contract is a contract at his
level and lotsa guys play where they have to.  Me included.
