I listened to the pregame interview with Chris Wallace last night. He
sounded pretty high on Herren. He basically said we had a mix of point
guards -- Kenny with his shooting abilities, Brown with defense and
intangibles, and Herren who could do some of both. When asked about
Pitino's comment that he would leave after this season, he said that
Pitino's been very positive so far, that he feels that a lot of the "heavy
lifting" was done in terms of player changes, and that they'd be able to
enjoy the fruits of that work in the next few years. Of course, Wallace
better hope that Pitino doesn't leave because his job's on the line too.
