Re: Magic game
I'm going to assume you didn't see the game, Dan. The Magic were
definitely working hard on D and basing using 3/4 court pressure that
sometimes extended to full court. The reason we looked good was that
Antoine has improved his shot in a big-time way. He still gets blocked
when he drives to the hoop, but when he lines up the 3 pointer, he is
definitely smoother. The one exception was down the stretch when he
rushed a 3 pointer and missed badly. You can almost tell when he's going
to toss up a long brick, because he rushes with his feet and seems to go
up on Tip-Toe before releasing. Whether you like 'Toine or not, you have
to give him some credit for working on his jump shot over the summer.
