tonite's game

Starke's Observations:
We looked decent tonight.  I was pleasantly surprised at this game.
    Herren, Carr, and Griffin all showed me something from behind the
arc.  These guys tore it up from the 3 in the 3rd, I think-this opened
up a lead we kept for the rest of the game.
    Herren appears to be for real.  Quite a spark for the team.  He
really hustles, and will bang with the bigger guys.
    Blount hit an 18 foot jumper in the 1st.  He definately has range.
With a little seasoning and timing this guy will be a player.
    Adrian is simply more aggressive on offense this year.  He also had
his usual steals (one off an inbound pass!) and offensive rebounds.
    Pierce's shot looked sweet.  The man is back!  He has improved his
midrange jumper too.
    Number 8 hit his free throws.  I repeat, #8 hit the throws!!!!!!!
    Kenny looked better on D, and shot decently.  He still needs to look
up court with the pass.  (Herren and Walker did a decent job passing
down court.)
    Vitaly's shot has also improved.  He hit almost every shot he took.
He is stronger too.  He beat the dog out of some of the Bulls
underneath.
    Moiso looked steady.  He looks a little better every game.  I am
impressed with his willingness to bang.
    The defense would have really rocked with Randy in the game!  We
simply need to control the ball better on O and work on team D.
