Cheaney out of Nugs?

There is talk in Denver that, with 16 guaranteed contracts, the
                 Nuggets may waive recently acquired swingman Calbert
                 Cheaney. Not that Cheaney ever has become the player
many
                 thought he could be -- but then, who from Indiana has,
besides
                 the Isiah without the extra "A." But getting waived
from the
                 Nuggets? That's a huge fall for the former top 10 draft
pick who
                 led the Big 10 in scoring his senior season.

Great trade for the Nugs... I suppose this really gives credence to the
rumor that this was really the "pre-payment".
