Re: box score

A few notes:
I don't know how Pitino can Battie to make his play consistant when he
doesn't play him consistantly. He was doing everything Pitino asked in the
Cleveland game but Pitino was trying to get VP out of his funk, I guess. He
still should have went back to him earlier in the fourth quarter....I was
thinking that Pitino stayed with the starters way too much in the first half.
They really needed a spark and without Herron, the only place that comes is
with defense and the second unit of Stith, Brown, Griffen. I also thought
Pitino should have went with Brown at the end of the game (last two minutes).
He was continueing to make his jumper and was really disrupting the Cavs
offensive flow. (They got the lead back with a Miller layup/fast break.)
Pitino had to choose between winning the game or maintaining Kenny's fragile
ego and he chose Kenny...Moiso may be totally lost out there but showed
something offensively that I didn't think he had. He showed a first step off
the dribble that a guy his size shouldn't have. Instead of trying to take his
guy off the post, use his height and throw the hook, he blew by him him on
the dribble for a jumper. This opens up a whole new range of possiblilites
for this kid. The upside on him is tremendous. However, upside can be
overrated.Upside means you ain't puttin out right now...Part of the way you
win games is stopping the other team from scoring, especially at the end of
the game. That means a liberal dose of Griffen, Stith and Brown. Add these to
Pierce, Walker and Battie and you got six guys that should get most of the
minutes. Anything else and you are just hurting the team...
