Among the international players applying for early entry into NBA Draft
2000 are: Iakovos Tsakalidis, a 7-2 center playing for AEK in Greece,
who is a member of the Greek National Team and helped AEK win the
Hellenic Cup and Saporta Cup; Hidayet Turkoglu, a 6-8 forward from Efes
Pilsen in Turkey who is a member of Turkey's National Team; and Olumide
Oyedeji, a 6-11 native of Nigeria who played the past two seasons for
DJK Wurzburg in Germany, leading the Bundesliga in rebounding this past
season with 15.5 rebounds per game.
