While Pierce for the second pick in the draft
is more viable than trading Walker for the
choice, because of salary cap problems, the fact
is that Pierce is a better small forward than
Walker, and a Swift - Pierce combo is preferable
to a Swift - Walker combo, because of that.

Now, if Antoine would actually get into shape
over the summer and regain some quickness, then
Swift - Walker could work, but since, Walker has
shown zero inclination during the last four
seasons to show up for camp in shape, don't
hold your breath.

And no, it wouldn't make much sense to have
Swift guarding the small forwards with Antoine
defending the PF's, because Walker can't guard
PFs either.
