Okay, heres my guess; similar to Dan's..

1 - Gaston buys more shares [already began]
2 - Gaston talks up Rick Pitino as Celtics coach [keeping the stock prices
high - already began]
3 - Gaston sells the Boston Celtics to a syndacate including Larry Bird,
Bill Russell, Cousy and rich businessmen.
4 - Larry Bird steps up to the plate as general manager
5 - Rick Pitino announces his resignation, under the table deal sees him get
paid half of his contract
6 - Larry installs Dave Cowens as head coach while signs Dennis Johnson,
Cedric Maxwell, Bill Russell, Bob Cousy and Tiny as assistant coaches.
7 - The following players are kept: Danny Fortson, Antoine and Paul, Kenny
Anderson, Adrian Griffin and Vitaly Potapenko. The rest are traded.
