No. You can use the $2M exception to give multi-year contracts every
year. Portland is an example: they signed Jim Jackson to a 3 year
deal using the exception, and then this year signed Schrempf to
a 2 year deal. Hmm, that's actually the only example I can think
of, it seems most teams didn't use the $2M exception after the 
lockout.

Anyway, we'll be capped out so we have the $2M exception, the $1M 
exception (every other year), and one first round draft pick. We have
an option on Denver's pick in 2001 contingent on it not being in the
top 5, I believe. I'd expect us to add two players, one by draft
and one by exception, barring a trade; which replaces the roster spots
given to Ellison and Overton.
