Hi,

Perhaps the speculated trade with Portland is not to retain the services of
O'neil but to rid themselves of Battie.  Any idea what the salary situation
is with O'neil.  Furthermore, could this mean the possibility of signing
Fortson if the numbers work out.; i.e: if O'niel has a shorter contract than
Battie, perhaps the Celtics could sign Fortson at the minimum with promise
for more.

Another scenario, how about O'neil plus Portland's pick with which a point
guard would be drafted.
