Re: Re: Re: Summer League player bios

No man, I don't think so. I admit that Filipino bkball players(or Asian Bkball) will never be at the level of the NBA but comparing us to High school teams is unfair. You never saw the Philippine pro league I assume, and you are definitely mistaken to judge our abilities. It's like watching New York Knicks against the bad boys Pistons era basketball. Pure defense and rough, body bangin basketball. Kevin Gamble used to be a reinforcement player until he got called up by the Celts. Our brand of play has obviously improved, fyi, thanks to Pete Newell's constant visits to give special bkball clinics.

Mill's great averages are really deceiving to anybody's (who hadn't seen him play) point of view. But my real point here is that this guy has played in the CBA, Chinese League and the Philippine League and showed his will to win games. He may not get the chance to score at will if ever he gets tapped but we are just hoping that his determination and intensity would rubb off his teammates.

Asian basketball will only improve more. Ask Tiny Archibald the current NBA ambassadors coach who got beat by China.

Later dude.
