   Boston's fascination with Indiana free-agent forward Austin Croshere
reached the point where coach Rick Pitino flew to Santa Monica to chat
with Croshere, with Chris Wallace, general manager and former Heat
minion, then walking in wearing a Celtics jersey with Croshere's name
affixed. Among the ludicrous notions being bandied about is the Celtics
would be willing to part with Antoine Walker to clear signing room for
Croshere. Walker is twice the player Croshere ever will be (but also
twice the headache).
