There are two articles and an audio file at ESPN on Phils.  From
everything they are saying, he was a solid citizen, good student,
and all round good guy.  Only the good die young.  I know it's not
true, but it seems that way.  Unfortunately, it appears that he was
speeding and lost control of his car.

The audio file is David Aldridge and there is a link at the main
page behind the NBA tab.  The urls are:
