I think this deal is dead.

Why? Why do Vancouver need three starting quality centers.

They just acquired Ike Austin. They're paying a bucket load of cash to
Bryant Reeves and to add Vitaly Potapenko would just be overkill for
them.

If anything, I could see them go out and acquire a power forward backup
to Stromile Swift or someone such as George Lynch from Philly, someone
who can play multiple positions and be a solid backup to 'Reef.
