RE: Celts 2000

true dat! I am with Gene on this one. The team
may not be better, may in fact be worse, but I really
doubt it. It's hard to get excited the way we did last
year, and in fact it's probably the way we were let down
this past season that makes us feel so guarded now. Last
year was the worst season for me as a fan in my 17 years
as a Celtics fan, and not the least part of it was the expectation
I had. I still think Kenny is to blame, though, which I why
I am so happy to see Pack and Brown enter the fray. And
Moiso is bound to be a treat to watch, even if he doesn't change
many games. I watched the tape of the summer league game, the
one with all the fouls, and he made one of the most spectacular blocks
I've seen in years. A forward had a clear path to the rim, and jumped
up to make a huge dunk. As he was going up, Moiso stepped back
away from the guy, let him come in, and then swatted the ball just
as the guy was bringing it strong to throw down. It was no finesse play,
but few intimidators could have pulled it off. If only we had reports that
Antoine was getting in shape...
