If this happens, and it sounds like it might, this is more than the Celts
really could have hoped for. Pack may or may not remain in Boston (can we
move Kenny and have a Pack-Randy Brown point guard tandem?), but his
contract is up after this season. And you never know about the
first-rounder. Utah is losing Hornacek and Eisley, and Stockton and Malone
are aging. That team is due for a fall in the very near future. The
overlooked part of the article is the suggestion that several other players
could be included, and the writer seems to be assuming the Celts would get a
first-rounder from Utah. Still, at face value it sounds like a good deal.

Now, I'm anxiously awaiting details on this Boston-Portland thing that seems
to have some life.
