CELTICS' POTAPENKO ARRESTED FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT

(AP) - Boston Celtics center Vitaly Potapenko faced charges of
disorderly conduct after arguing with his girlfriend at Logan
International Airport Monday morning, authorities said. Potapenko
reportedly was seen arguing with a woman in one of the airport's
terminals shortly after midnight, State Police Sgt. Edwin
Anderson said. Anderson declined to identify the woman, but said
she was Potapenko's girlfriend. Massachusetts Port Authority
employees called state police to break up the altercation. When
troopers arrived, Potapenko and the woman were in a parking lot.
When Potapenko refused to leave, troopers arrested him, Anderson
said. Potapenko was released on his own recognizance, and
scheduled to be arraigned later Monday in East Boston District
Court. The Ukrainian-born Potapenko, 24, was traded to Boston in
March from Cleveland. He averaged 10.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in
33 games.
