why we keep 14 guys on roster

This is why.  Turner and Battie are gonna be fine, may play tomorrow.
Kenny just got stitches, Wesley laid out an elbow on him.

As far as Fortson, this really hurts our chances of making the playoffs if
he's gonna be out the first 2 months of the season.  I was almost happy
when I finally heard what it was, I was expecting a torn ACL and gone for
the year prognosis. At least he will be coming back. I was getting really
psyched about the season.  That just brought me back down to reality.

Who knows, if he comes back in 8 weeks, that's not bad.  I see us as
strictly a 500 team without Fortson, a 5-7 seed in the east with Fortson.
That shows how highly I think of him and his importance to the team.
