What we got:

Of the above players, Battie is the only one with decent effort/talent
on D. It may be an intangible, but it's critical.
After a team has couple of good scorers, Defense and character has won
championships for the last decade. Our guys go through the motions
but just don't show the heart to really lock up on D, and will give
up. For example, the C's at full strength, and playing with full
effort last year were ABUSED by Ricky Davis, Chucky Brown, Brad
Miller(close to the sadest frontcourt you can come up with). Turner must
be suprised that the bulk of the current C's don't defend with the passion
that his former teamates did.
Players like the Antonio Davis, Sprewell, Ellie play both ends with a
grittier attitude than any current Celtic (except Pierce), by far.

What we need:

To help the team win in the future, it may be better to have a
mobile/relentlessHelpDefender/rebounder like Horace Grant, Declerq,
Campbell, Brian Grant, Wright, instead of Fortson(overrated because of one
stat line) or Antoine(should be a 3), at PowerForward. Especially if
Vitaly is our long term starter.
