- The Warriors, picking ninth in the draft, want a
point guard.  They like Jason Terry, William Avery
and Andre Miller, two or three of whom should be
available when they select.  They also could be
$7 million under the cap, if they renounce all
their free agents, but they want to re-sign
Dampier and Cummings, which means that Tony
Delk will be available....

The draft just got stronger as Dion Glover declared
today, and Jonathan Bender, the 6-11 Mississippi 
high school player who broke Michael Jordan's
scoring record at the McDonald's Classic has 
decided to come out too.  He could go anywhere from
high lottery to middle first.  Opinions vary.  Some
see him as the next Kevin Garnett; others think it
would have taken him two or three years to even have
made the All-SEC team, if he had enrolled at 
Mississippi State.
