Re[2]: Ike Austin

He was a disappointment in Orlando, but this guy deserves better than to be
labeled a stiff. He had two good seasons in Miami, played well in L.A. after the
trade there and was considered by many to be the best free agent center on the
market last summer. His contract isn't bad because he took less to play in
Orlando. If he's available, I'd look into it.

They would have to be very well paid hot dog vendors for it to work under the
cap.

Seriously tho, I'd take him for Pervis & Popeye. They could always sell
franks while they sit on the DL. He could back up VP who would make him work
hard in practice. When he was a FA he even suggested Boston as a destination
so he must think he can play for Pitino. You know the NBA - there's always a
market for big stiffs! If he didn't work out he could be sent somewhere.
