They "might" win a title, but other than Rodman, riding on the backs of the
likes of MJ, Pippen, Isiah and Dumars, the balance of this team is a train
wreck waiting to happen.  Sure if they win it, I will give them credit after
I recover from my binge, but don't forget they have to get out of the west
first, and this hasn't been a given for years.  The likes of the Blazers,
Jazz, and certainly the experienced Rockets will give them fits, and don't
count out the Spurs when they catch a wave.  If it comes down to Clank-Fu or
Denny making a FT at the end of game to win, lay big money on the miss.

BTW what has a healthy Rice done in his career, with an all-star supporting
cast?

According to Peter Vecsey, the Lakers are likely to
pull the trigger on the Glen Rice trade soon.  They
are also interested in Terrell Brandon.  Either way,
at least they are pro-active, unlike a certain coach
in Boston who now wants to wait till after July 1 to 
do something.  What the hell happened to one that
was known as "Trader Rick"?  The guy that use to throw
caution to the wind.  The Lakers are going to win the
championship, because they acquired Rodman and Rice
and fired their coach.  They're not hesitant to shake
the tree and see what falls down.  They make moves.
They are truly championship-driven.  We can all look
forward to seeing Antoine Walker bulk up... Ahhh,
what a load of crap.
