Bill, Nice job! You did Kevin justice. You captured his underrated athleticizm, tenacious desire to win, awe inspiring footwork, and wildly refreshing sense of humor perfectly. There are three things that stand apart in my mind when I remember McHale. He was a big doofy-looking guy until he got his hands on the ball and defied the stereotype, he never gave up on a win regardless of the score, and he was an intellegent but more precisely "articulate" voice in a working man's uniform. While his comments sometimes simmered the waters in which he waded, his was a voice that few in any aspect of the sport seldom ignored or discounted. You did him right...and so did the HOF. Thanks!
