Unfortunately, I think the Celtics are closer to $8M over the cap
($40M total) and the Samaki Walker trade would be a sign-and-trade
which means his salary figure will actually be higher - enough
to make the trade work since Dallas doesn't have any real cap room
(hence their problem with Gary Trent). The Celtics are simply not
going to be players in the free agent marketplace (except via 
exceptions). They were at the cap before the Walker and Potapenko
extensions and they're pretty far over at this point.
