Vin Baker, through his agent warns Seattle that resigning is not a
certainty. Bakers agent stated clearly that due to Vin's participation in
the qualifying games for the Olympics, he will not be focusing alot of time
on a free agent decision. But that a number of teams have expressed interest
in Baker, and that he was not opposed to idea of leaving, he did say that
his primary option was resigning with Seattle but that they would have to
come with a max deal, or there would be no deal. Among the teams who have
expressed interest are Miami (sign and trade), Boston (sign and trade),
Toronto, and the Clippers. Chicago filled their need with Elton Brand and
may not consider a contract offer to Baker.<<<<<<
