TONIGHT'S GAME

I watched tonight's game and was very impressed with Pierce.  Battie played
well, also.  I think these two are fine additions.  Someone asked about
Popeye and Schintz (what's the spelling?)  Neither of them played tonight,
at least I didn't see them.  From the looks of things we have a very capable
team and it would seem Antoine doesn't have to do all the scoring, because
we have a great passing team and many scorers.  Also, Battie and Pierce did
a pretty good job of playing centers.  Andrew was effective, also.

Those of you (like me) who can't get the away games should be angry with the
Celtics organization, not the television station.  They didn't care about
the fans when they put those games on Channel 68.  At least, not the ones
outside of the Boston area.  The Red Sox did the same thing.  Because of
that, and the fact that Fox Sports New England is going digital in March, we
had to purchase a small dish, though we've owned a BUD for many years and
have much money invested in it.  Otherwise, we would be able to get none of
the games, thanks to the Boston owners who couldn't care less.  Where we
live, in a rural, mountain area, we'll never have cable.

I'm pretty excited about the team also and am very happy to see Mercer
blossoming as I always knew he could/would.
