Re: Uh oh, now Paul is going to testy!
This is factually wrong on a number of counts. Popeye was already
against the Cs cap for, what 300% of his previous salary. Signing him
did not eat up any available cap space at all. Also, reports are that
Stewart was offered the average exception by Boston, not 1 million. He
signed with Toronto because they are going to be well under the cap next
year, and have already worked out an extension. The Celtics were not
going to be under the cap to that extent unless they let Walker go.
