Re: Excemptions/draft

Dwayne Schintzius signed a contract Thursday with
the Celtics. Now it may have a make-it-out-of-training-camp clause,
but it's
for $1M., with the second year, the C's option.
So Shintzius is officially signed. The C's
however still have the $1.75M. option, and it would be nice if they
used it on a quality
veteran, someone who could be dealt for a draft
choice, when teams start solidifying their rosters
for the playoffs: A Brent Barry, Jimmy Jackson,
etc.
