Tonight on sportscenter they interviewed a guy from the Magazine side.
He was at the voting today and said David Stern praised the negotiating team
and suggested the Union members should give them a hand. There was absolute
silence! Also, in interviewing some of the players, it was plain they would
have voted against the Union to accept the last deal by the NBA. If Stern
had held out, he would have won anyway, without staying up all night with
Hunter. Wonder who the 5 dissenting votes were? Bet we can guess, huh?
