There Will Be A Season, Because I Said So...

Yes, there will be.  This is all, to use a overwrought cliche,
a "high-stakes poker game".  There's bluffing and posturing
going on, along with a reshuffling of the deck, excessive
betting, people arguing over what the wild cards are,
corn chips falling on the floor, a dense fog of smoke,
etc., etc.  But in the end, the game will be completed,
and there will be an agreement.  The season will be anywhere
from 40 to 45 intra-conference games, with a possible NCAA
Tournament-like playoff series.  There will be loads of player movement,
as a multitude of free agents switch clubs, and a plentiful amount
of trades, including a few by Il Duce, who lockout or no lockout, is
collecting $18,000 a day.  So, Pitino owes the fans and the organizations
some quality managerial moves.
