trade

i know some of you think it's early but i think ricky's gonna make a deal
sometime between now and next season for a ligtimate post man (power
forward or center) and it's just a matter of who he's going to deal. i
don't think it'll be mercer (too much upside) or kenny (a true point is
harder to find than any other position) and so that leaves us with
either paul or antoine. which would you rather have? the reason i put
these two against each other is that they both play the same position.
walker is not a power forward in the sense that we know... a guy whose
back is to the basket and uses power as the driving force to his game.
speed, quickness, dribble moves, etc. only complement his game (ie. look
at webber now that he's forced himself to stay within 10 ft of the basket
80% of the time now).

now saying this i like paul better... his game is complete, he's a better
defender, he's a better shooter.. he is a true 3. walker is kind of a 3.5
and i don't know too many 3.5's that really make their mark in this
league. i hope i don't shock you all but the guy i would try to pry away
for walker is rasheed wallace (not even up though)! i know he had his rap
as being a "cancer" at nc but i havn't heard anything bad about him since
he's been in the league. perhaps he still is a problem (and thus not
starting in portland) but i'd love to see him in the post in green. what
do you all think (did anybody see him vs. the lakers in last years
playoffs?)? tell me... i'd love to hear.
