Pierce at 2

Hi list:

Could someone tell me how Pierce looked playing the 2 last night? I
always assumed that the main reason 9 teams passed on Pierce was that
most GM's instinctively projected him at big guard, based on his height.
Arguably, Vince Carter and Larry Hughes were better NBA prospects from
that point-of-view.

Whatever the reason, Pierce is luckily a Boston Celtic and playing
mainly at his natural position. IMO, Pierce and Antoine could develop
into the greatest starting forward combo of the next decade. It's hard
to find any better pair of young forwards, once the old Dream Teamers
retire (Pippen/Barkley etc).

I'm really hoping for the first or many big upset wins at Miami against
the Mousse Meister Riley. The Heat should be tired after two straight
games, while the Celtics can look forward to a week of R&R down in
Florida after the game.
