Re: Celts replace Knicks in playoffs

I for one would welcome the demise of the knicks, especially once
Patrick Ewing is revealed as the ball hogging fraud he is. But you've
got another thing coming if you underrate Latrell Sprewell. No one
who knows thing one about baskeball would doubt that he is one of the
three or four best shooting guards in the game today, if not the best.
The comparison to Walter is laughable. A better comparison would be
to John Starks, a player he resembles in a lot of ways. Imagine
Starks with twice the speed, a much better shot, three times the skill
taking it to the rack, and half again as much testosterone. OK, maybe
not half again as much testosterone, but equal aggressiveness.
Sprewell is wiry strong and cat quick , and can shut your ass down
defensively. Ron better plan using some double screens if wants to
get his shot off. Don't be fooled by his shooting percentage, either
a bullshit statistic if ever there was one. The guy can flat out score.
