Dirk Nowitzki

Hi All,

Watched the Mavs play tonight and thought I'd give a report.  Saw Dirk
Nowitzki play for the first time.  He was the guy that I was hoping would
fall to us in last year's draft.

Nowitzi (pronounced Novitzki) is a talented offensive performer.  At 6'10",
he can shoot, dribble, and pass.  Actually, his game seems to be quite
similar to another European, Toni Kucoc.

How does he compare to our talented rookie?  Well, I would say that Paul
Pierce is stronger, quicker, smarter, and a better defender and rebounder.
Offensively, let's call it a wash.

I'm happy to say that I'll never be saying "what if?".

We got the right guy.
