Apparently Bruce Bowen stepped on Ron's foot just as he twisted. The
diagnosis (sprained MRI) was far less critical than expected. No real need
at all to rush Ron back IMO, other than to give all of us Mercer fans a
collective sigh of relief. There are some nice articles in today's Boston
Herald site, BTW.

Although Toronto has now fully scouted how to prepare for an upset win in
our NBA season opener this Friday, I hope we still beat the crud out of them
for the third time (Pitino still hasn't shown them the press). If we do win,
then we can surely also surprise the less-prepared teams in the early
going.     It all starts on Friday.
