Even the part of sucking as a general manager is a difficult one to answer.
Its not as if he signed Jim McIlvaine for $3 mil and couldn't get rid of him
until we found a worse GM... Afterall; people class Jerry West as a great GM
when we had Travis Knight we were still able to acquire El Busto Battie for
him.
