I love it when this list gets cranky. I have to admit I was thoroughly down
on Ricky for a very long time, and I still hate his mass substitutions but
I'm old-fashioned that way...but Ricky has done just about as well as you
could expect with this team. And I was totally wrong about his player
acquisitions. The bottom-line is, this guy has collected some good young
players. Battie, Fortson, and even Anderson, God help us, were good
pickups. Even VP has turned out to be seviceable and better at times, and I
never expected even that much. 8-8? I don't think anybody would've expected
anything more. And some of us certainly expected a whole lot - 0-4 - less.
Is Way still with us? (Sorry, I just couldn't resist.) This team was a
total mess and Pitino has totally upgraded. And please, don't come back
with they had no place to go but up. I read some of the trade proposals on
this list and....... Who's cranky?
