Michael Holley: Walker's Agent Will Be Shocked If He's Traded

In a non-Web posted NBA Notes Column in today's Boston Globe,
Michael Holley has a quote from Walker's agent, Mike Higgins,
saying all the trade talk is "'pure speculation'". Higgins says,
no one's talked to Antoine and he's getting ready for the season.

Holley says, the trade talks arose because Walker got into a
disagreement with one of the Celtics assistant coaches in Chicago.
The argument was about Pitino, and Walker was upset with Il Duce.
So you can imagine how thrilled Pitino was hearing about this, back in
Boston. Any ways, his agent says -- despite reports to the contrary --
he'll
be "'shocked'" if Walker is traded after the saeason.

Holley adds that Walker is playing in an informal summer league in
Chicago, and that he scored 47 points in a recent game, playing against
the
likes of Juwan Howard, Michael Finley, and Tim Hardaway.

In other news, Holley notes that three rookies: Jason Terry, Baron Davis
and
Shawn Marion are being viewed with excitement, and that David Wesley may
be
traded shortly...
