Offensive rebounding

Peter made a point about Fortson possibly benefitting from having teams
focus on McDyess. Actually, when you look at McDyess' stats, he added
almost a full offensive rebound per game this year; isn't it possible
that he benefitted from Fortson also? It's much harder to keep two top
rebounders off the boards than one. I think they actually helped each
other as their offensive rebounding stats improved drastically this year
when they were paired together.

Another thing: over their careers, Walker has averaged half an offensive
rebound more per game than McDyess, even including McDyess' superior
season last year. McDyess is the more dominant offensive post player
but Walker may be the better rebounder. Fortson could have a beneficial
effect on Walker's already impressive offensive rebounding; keeping both
these guys off the boards - as well as the opportunistic Pierce (2.4 off
rpg) and Potapenko (2.3 off rpg) - should give opposing teams a headache.
